Guy Creates Life-Size Functional WALL-E Robot
August 3, 2012 in characters, cute (there i siad it!), daaaaaaaw, full-size, good job, holy smokes, irl, keep up the good work, kinda want (but don’t tell anybody), make me an animatronic dino?, movies, precious, robot, skills, video, wall-e, when life hands you lemons squirt them in your eye and suffer — that’s my motto (i’m having a bad day), wow

Mike Senna of California spent an estimated 3,200 – 3,800 hours over two and a half years building this full-scale, functional WALL-E robot from scratch. He talks, rolls around, moves his arms and eyeballs, but can’t compact trash. He will melt your heart though. Probably with a hidden laser blaster. Never trust the cute ones.
Hit the jump for a worthwhile video of the EVE lover in action.
Thanks to PFC Smith, Jessicow and Brian, who agree the cute robots are the ones you have to worry about the most.
