Seen here doing his best to ignore the man behind him wearing underwear on his head, a spokesperson for Suidobashi Heavy Industries introduces the Kuratas, a 13-foot tall weaponized personal mecha for rich people to kill us all. ITS GATLING GUNS FIRE WHEN THE PILOT SMILES.
Mobile suit obsessives around the world can thank artist Kogoro Kurata and robotics expert Wataru Yoshizaki for the robot frame, which has space to house a pilot inside. The mech’s touchscreen UI even includes a Kinect-based movement interface and the shudder-inducing “smile-activated” twin BB gatling guns.
Yeah, so the gatling guns only fire BB’s. And the missile launchers shoot water bottles. Still, I guarantee they could be modded to be lethal by SPOILER, PLEASE NO TERRORISTS READ THIS: replacing them with real weapons. “Dammit GW, what have you done?!” I did bad, didn’t I?

Thanks to Boomsling, Cameron B, and Tony, who built their own giant mechas out of cardboard but they dissolved in the rain because their parents wouldn’t let them keep them in the garage.
