Disgusting: Mummy Made From Ground-Up McDonald’s

April 25, 2012 in art as a kinda weak message, disgusting, eating, fast food, food, i would still lick that even if you didn’t promise to give me a dollar, man if you left my dog alone in that room for even a minute that mummy would be eaten up to the crotch, mcdonald’s, meat, mummy, nasty, near-meat, nowhere-near-meat, skeleton, sure why not, this is why you’re body won’t decompose, this is why you’re fat, whatever

This is a mummy made by artist BenEverywhere from $200 of ground-up McDonald’s burgers and some resin to hold it all together. It’s supposed to make a statement about how McDonald’s food is barely even food anymore and lasts forever because it’s so chock-full of additives. That…is not what I got from it. I thought it was about how eating McDonald’s will make your femurs grow to freakish proportions. Both very powerful messages. Mine’s probably more powerful though, let’s be honest. “But I was born big-boned.” No, you’re a Hamburglar and you and I both know it!
